About Us
Our Story
We are Tracey & Al Smith and we run the Smith's U-Pick Blueberry Farm in Norridgewock, Maine. After 20 years of dealing with inflammation and many issues, including Lyme, we started a journey of dieting, doctors and frustration. We just felt like we were going in circles, one step forward and 4 steps back. Tracey started attending conferences on farming and they were so linked to our own bodies and health it was amazing. She then started going to seminars and conferences on "Food is our Medicine" and decided to make some changes in our food intake. Once we started eating what made us feel alive we began to see and feel the results. We couldn't keep this to ourselves. We started Smith's Maine Nutriment in July 2023, a commercial kitchen focusing on providing quality products and education.
Farm Drop
Our Kitchen/Farm has been a producer on Farm Drop since Spring of 2024.
Farm Drop is a great place to do your online grocery shopping while supporting local farmers and other local producers. It is growing everyday and always improving. We are so glad to be a part of this great program and hope that more people come to learn about it!
Our Farm in Norridgewock is one of the pickup locations, but there are many pickup locations across the state of Maine! Take a look and see!
Smith's U-Pick Blueberries
This is our farm in Norridgewock, ME. We spend the majority of our summers here picking blueberries, making connections with our customers, and taking in the beauty of the state of Maine.
This farm was started by our brother Frank Smith and when he passed it was an easy decision to keep it going.
We are ever expanding our farm and currently have plans for more berries, more activities, more events, and creating a space that is catered to community.
Supporting Local Products
We have many small business friends that we go to on a regular basis for things like meat, vegetables/fruit, services, etc. We do our absolute best to support them!
We preach supporting local! There are far too many benefits to not take the time to do so. Creating and strengthening community is just one among so many. One action may seem small to you but it is actually:
